Introduction

OSM > RouteWare 2.02

This converter will process OSM files from OpenStreetMap into TAB / SHP / MIF format.

The purpose is to extract information from the highway layer, for use with routing of generalized motor traffic, bicycles and/or pedestrians.

In particular it aims at making it easy to use with RouteWare products:

•Duration (of ferries)

•Split loop links

•Split links for routing

On top of this, it can also perform a number of topological checks and point towards possible errors.
